  2. It's 1 cup basil leaves, washed & drained.
  3. You need 2 garlic cloves.
  4. It's 1-2 green chilies.
  5. It's 1/4 cup sesame seeds.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp. lime juice.
  7. You need 3 tbsp. olive oil.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp. cumin powder.
  9. It's 2 pinches pepper powder.
  10. It's to taste salt.
  11. You need as needed extra boiled chickpeas, basil leaves and olive oil to garnish.

  1. Blend together all the above mentioned ingredients to a smooth paste. Add some water if required to adjust the consistency..
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with some boiled chickpeas, basil leaves, lime wedges and olive oil..
  3. Serve as a dip along with some veggie crudites, croutons, bread sticks or as a spread on sandwiches / parathas..
