- It's 2 fresh bay leaves.
- Prepare 2 cups milk of choice.
- You need 1 cup water.
- Prepare 2-3 cm chunk ginger, sliced finely.
- You need 5 green cardamom pods.
- You need 3 black cardamom pods.
- It's 1/2 stick cinnamon.
- Prepare 3 cloves.
- You need 5 whole black peppercorns.
- Prepare 2 tbsp black tea leaves.
- You need to taste Sugar.

- In a pan, heat the milk and water with the bay leaves. Use a medium heat so it doesnโt boil too fast. All the spices need a little time to infuse..
- Put all the spices together and crush them roughly in a mortar and pestle. They donโt have to be ground - just crushed a bit..
- Add the spices to the milk mix..
- Add the tea leaves. And bring to the boil..
- Strain the tea into a pot. Enjoy ๐.
