Ingredients cook Spicy Cabbage Rolls
- It's 4 whole cabbage leaves, washed properly.
- You need 1 tbsp butter.
- It's 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic.
- Prepare 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger.
- Prepare 1 finely chopped green chilli.
- Prepare 2 tbsp finely chopped onions.
- Prepare 2 tbsp finely chopped yellow bell pepper.
- Prepare 2 tbsp finely chopped red bell pepper.
- You need 2 tbsp finely chopped green capsicum.
- It's 2 tbsp moong sprouts.
- You need 1/2 tsp oregano.
- It's 1/2 tsp chilli flakes.
- It's 1 tsp italian seasoning.
- It's 2 tbsp grated processed cheese.
- It's 2 tbsp chilli tomato sauce.
- You need 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves.
- You need to taste Salt.
Spicy Cabbage Rolls step by step
- Take whole cabbage leaves and wash them properly.
- Now boil water in a big vessel, add the cabbage leaves and let them cook a little.
- Cook them, until it changes it's colour and becomes little soft, then take them out in a strainer.
- On the other hand prepare the stuffing, gather all the ingredients at one place like chopped onions, garlic, ginger, green chilli, tricolour bell peppers, oregano, chilli flakes and italian seasoning.
- Heat butter in a pan and first put garlic, saute for few seconds, then add ginger and green chilli, saute again for few seconds, then add onions, saute for a minute, then add moong sprouts, saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
- Now add tricolour bell peppers, mix nicely, cook for 2 - 3 minutes, then add salt, oregano, chilli flakes and italian seasoning.
- Mix well, then switch off the gas and add chopped coriander, grated cheese and tomato chilli sauce, mix them nicely, the stuffing is ready.
- Now take one cabbage leaf and place it on a surface, then it some stuffing mixture in the center and fold it from all the sides.
- Seal the ends properly with a toothpick, in this way prepare the other rolls too.
- Now heat water in a big vessel for steaming, place a big strainer over it and put the ready rolls in the strainer.
- Cover the lid and steam for 15 minutes, after steaming it will look like this.
- The leaves will become transparent, you can see the stuffing from outside only, arrange them in a serving plate and serve hot with any sauce or you can have it as it is.
