Tabbouleh - Lebanese parsley salad - Tabbouleh is such a distinct and iconic salad that it has become so well known all over the world. I always find this salad in the prepared food section at the supermarket, as well at any Mediterranean food stand, cart or restaurant, even more so than Fattoush! With a parsley base, this delicious salad combines fresh mint, scallions, tomatoes and bulgur. Along with fattoush salad, it's the top salad served in Lebanon, where my parents are from. So, as you can imagine, I've grown up eating a lot of tabbouleh in my life.
There's technically no lettuce in it.
The perfect mix of fresh parsley, mint, lemon juice, olive oil & bulgur make this traditional Lebanese salad a must try.

Tabouli is likely the topmost famed Mediterranean/Middle Eastern salad there is. Because it is now sold in most large supermarkets around the world, I feel compelled to dispel one thing: the "star of the show," so to speak, in a tabouli recipe is not the bulgur. The idea is to have a little bulgur with the salad, not a little salad with your bulgur. Lebanese Tabbouleh (tabouli, tabouleh) is a lemony herb salad that you scoop up with lettuce leaves or a fork. Tabbouleh is a healthy, rich and super-green salad with pure Lebanese origins that is known for its spicy-tangy kick. Thank you and good luck
