  1. It's 6 c flour.
  2. It's 1 TBS yeast.
  3. Prepare 3/4 c sugar.
  4. It's 1/2 c melted margarine.
  5. Prepare 2 c warm water.
  6. Prepare 2 TBS cocoa powder.
  7. Prepare Red food color.
  8. It's Oil for frying.

  1. In a bowl add flour, yeast, sugar, cocoa powder and mix well.
  2. Pour the margarine and mix together.
  3. Add color to the warm water to your desired brightness. Add the water a little at a time to the flour mixture and knead to a soft dough.
  4. Allow to rest for one hour. It will have doubled in size, punch down and rollout then cut into donuts. Leave to proof again for about 20mins.
  5. Heat oil on medium and fry. They won't turn completely brown just slightly cause of the red color. If they brown totally you'll be burning them.
  6. Allow to cool. Serve with tea.
