Ingredients cook Samosa Chaat
- It's Chana.
- It's 1 can white chickpeas.
- Prepare Half cup onion.
- It's 3 chillies (add more for extra spiceness).
- It's Cut small tomatoes (optional).
- It's Bunch coriander chopped.
- It's 2 pinches salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp Cumin powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp curry powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp chilli powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp masala mix.
- Prepare Vegetable oil for cooking.
- It's Tamarind Sauce (if making from scratch).
- Prepare Bunch natural tamarind.
- You need Boil water.
- You need Pinch salt.
- Prepare Curd.
- You need 3 tbs yoghurt.
- Prepare 1 tsp sugar (alter to taste for extra sweetness).
- It's Extra.
- Prepare Fried samosas.
- Prepare Fry plain samosa pads.

- Heat 2tbs oil in a pan. Add onions and chillies. Add to pan and allow to sautΓ© for few minutes.

- After mixing add spices listed in ingredients and mix well. Add little bit of water and allow to simmer..
- Make sure your samosas have been fried at this point and cut them in small pieces (Does not need to be precise) and add them in the pan, and mix a bit until cooked.
- For the tamarind sauce, get a bunch of tamarind and soak in boiling water for 5 mins. This will allow the seeds to be removed and drain the liquids out to give the tangy taste. Sieve and remove any hard bits. Add pinch of salt and mix..
- For the curd, get 3 tbs of youghurt and 1 tbs sugar (i used 1.5 tbs of sugar for extra sweetness). Use the ratio 3:1 tbs for youghurt : sugar. Mix nicely..
- Once steps 1-6 are done, grab a plate / bowl of your choice. Add your desired amount of cooked chickpeas on the plate, followed by broken FRIED samosa pads. Then, add your desired amount of tamarind sauce (tangy flavour) and curd (very sweet). Alter to taste and liking. You can always add more after.
