How to Making Recipes Pear/peach cobbler using 9 ingredients and 4 steps
Pear/peach cobbler - Sprinkle toasted slivered or sliced almonds over individual servings. Bring to a boil in the microwave and then pour over the sugar mixture in the baking pan. Place the cobbler on the middle rack, and place a sheet of aluminum foil on the rack below, to catch any drips. This will make any necessary cleanup a lot easier, should the cobbler bubble over the sides. Many decades later I still love it and falls under the category of 'rescuer recipe', the type that comes together quickly, is a total crowd-pleaser, travels well to another location and can be made year-round.
We love it with a big ol' scoop of ice cream or some freshly whipped cream right on top (or maybe even both!).
