Sultana Scones - Sultana Scones - my super quick and easy recipe for moist and fluffy buttermilk scones packed with sweet and juicy sultanas. Today's recipe is for one of my favourite afternoon tea treats - Sultana Scones. If I'm honest, it doesn't need to be afternoon, it could be anytime - and doesn't need to be with a cup of tea - I just love. Serve with double or clotted cream and jam, or simply spread with a generous amount of butter. This is a basic scone recipe I make sweet and delicious with the addition of a handful of sultanas. Add a personal note:. "Sultana scones" was the second item I made when I started blogging, but the photos were so bad, I never got round to posting it. I clearly remember those early days because I used to take about one hundred photos. then I would discard about eighty of them and the remaining twenty would sometimes be so bad I had to make arrangements to bake. Thank you and good luck
