Sweet and sour chicken sauce step by step
- Begin by adding flour,corn starch in a mixing bowl, then add in all the spices,Maggi,water and soy sauce mix everything together until well combined (that will be the marinate for the chicken)....these how the consistency of the marinate should look like...then add in the chicken and mix very well... marinate in the fridge for atleast 3 hours. Then on a medium high heat add oil in a pot and deep fry the chicken untill golden brown on the outside and juicy inside.
- Keep repeating same process until all the chicken is finished....note: don't over crowd the chicken when deep frying if not the oil will drop down and you'll end up with mushy chicken which we all don't want..... So when the chicken is well fried place in a kitchen pepper towel to drain the excess oil....
- In a separate pot on a medium low heat add in little oil, add in chopped bell peppers and chopped onion cook for atleast 3 minutes...then add in your sauce mix and cook for 1 minute...then add in water to loosing the sauce a little.
- And cook for just 2 minutes and off the stove...then add in your fried chicken and coat everything together,serve in a plate and enjoy.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onion...enjoy with fried potatoes,pasta, rice or just enjoy it straight away...yum yum yum.
