Chicken Bone Broth /Stock (crock pot)

How to Making Recipes Chicken Bone Broth /Stock (crock pot) using 11 ingredients and 3 steps

Chicken Bone Broth /Stock (crock pot) - With a Crock-Pot, fully-flavored chicken bone broth no longer has to take up your entire day as you watch the stove. All you have to do is toss some leftover chicken bones into a slow cooker with a few vegetables, add a handful of herbs and a touch of sea salt and pepper, and set it overnight or before you head out for work. How Long to Cook Your Stock Cook your chicken stock for at least eight hours in the slow cooker, but the stock only gets more rich and intense the longer you let it go. If you have cooked a crockpot chicken, keep all of the drippings and vegetables in the pot. I do this a lot when I make a whole chicken.

When it's done, throw out all the vegetables, strain the liquid and remove the chicken for other recipes, like chicken salad, or anything that calls for shredded chicken.

Bone broth is the SAME thing as chicken stock or broth.

Chicken Bone Broth /Stock (crock pot) - Add salt and peppercorns, if using. Fill the crock pot with water, leaving a little space at the top. After removing all edible meat from the chicken put/leave the bones, skin, cooking juices, etc. in the crock pot. Put your bones and other food goodies in the crockpot and cover with water. Every crockpot is different, so adjust heat as necessary while the stock cooks. A gentle simmer is okay, but try to avoid a rolling boil. Broth, bone broth and stock are similar yet notably different. Thank you and good luck
