Ingredients make Onion Bhaji Pakora

  1. It's 1 kg Red Lentils.
  2. You need 5 Onions.
  3. You need 1 little bit of Coriander.
  4. It's 1 handfull of green chilli.
  5. It's 3 1/2 Tbsp Hot Curry powder.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp salt.
  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp tumeric powder.
  8. Prepare Oil to fry.

Onion Bhaji Pakora instructions

  1. Soak Red lentils overnight in water.
  2. Once soaked overnight, wash all thoroughly..
  3. Now place half of your lentils in a blender!.
  4. Blend away on low making sure you don't over blend it it should be quite mushy and not too liquidy..
  5. Now blend the other batch the same way!.
  6. Now cut up your green chillies and onions and place in a bowl and coriander.
  7. Mix salt and Curry powder with your onion green chilli and coriander mix.
  8. Add in your red lentils and tumeric powder to the Curry mix..
  9. Now heat your oil on high.
  10. Once oil is hot, with your hands, pick up a little bit of Bhaji mix and drop into oil carefully..
  11. You can fit around at least 8 at a time depending on how big you make it!.
  12. Take out when it becomes slight brown rather than golden.
