- You need 400 gms chicken.
- It's 3 tbsp scraped coconut.
- Prepare 1 1/2 onion chopped.
- It's 2 green cardamom.
- It's 5-6 cloves.
- You need 1/2 "stick cinnamon.
- It's 1 tsp ginger paste.
- You need 1/2 tsp garlic paste.
- It's 2 tbsp tomato puree.
- You need 1 tsp aniseed or sauf.
- It's 1 tsp sesame or poppy seeds.
- Prepare 1 tbsp malai or fresh cream.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
- You need 2 tbsp fried curry leaves.
- Prepare 1 roasted dry red chilli.
- Prepare 2 slit green chillies.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric.
- It's 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp kitchen king masala.
- You need 1/2 tsp garam masala.
- Prepare 2 tbsp refined oil.
- You need 1 cup water.
- You need 1 tbsp chopped coriander.
- It's 1 tbsp lemon juice.
- Prepare To taste salt.
Malabar Chicken Korma instructions
- Marinate chicken with little salt and lemon juice for an hour. Meanwhile grate coconut and coarsely grind it.Make a paste of sesame or poppy seeds,aniseed,fresh cream or malai, tomato puree,ginger garlic paste..

- Dry roast 1 dry red chilli and set aside.Heat oil in a wok.Sprinkle half crushed cardamom,cinnamon and cloves and mustard seeds.When they splutter,add the chopped onion and fry golden brown..
- Add the chicken and toss.Also add the ground paste,salt to taste,turmeric and chilli powder.Add kitchen king masala or 1 tsp dhaniya and jeera powder.Toss all and add water.Cover and let it cook on low flame..
- Sprinkle fried curry leaves and toss till masala coats chicken.Garnish with dry roasted red chilli,curry leaves and chopped coriander.Serve with appam, rice or any Indian flat bread..
