Ingredients make Rava stuffed modak
- It's Dough.
- Prepare 40 gm sooji.
- You need 1/2 tbsp ghee.
- It's 125 ml milk.
- It's 5 gm Chopped pistachios.
- You need 40 gm castor sugar.
- It's 50 gm mawa.
- You need 2 gm elachi (Cardamom)powder.
- You need pinch Kesar/safforn.
- Prepare Fresh coconut stuffing.
- Prepare 100 gm grated coconut.
- You need 60 gm jaggery.
- You need 1/2 tsp elachi(Cardamom) powder.
- You need 20 gm chopped dry fruits.
- It's 25 gm mawa.
Rava stuffed modak step by step
- Dough: In a pan, add ghee and suji roast for 5 minute(note- not roast till brown color).
- Add elachi powder,pista and mawa cook for 8 minutes then add sugar and keep mixing.
- Lastly add milk and kesar cook till dough.
- Fresh coconut stuffing: in a pan add ghee and fresh coconut and roast it then add jaggery powder and cook continuously.
- Add mawa pistachio and elachi powder cook the mixture till mixture completely cooled.
- Assembly: in a modak mould add layer of coating.keep a hollow in center,fill the stuffing cover the bottom of dough seal properly. Demould it.
- Without mold: Flaten the dough with palm,first made four corner then if you want more than you made and then filled with stuff sealed the border properly.
