- Prepare 1 Grated Coconut (Medium Size).
- You need 100 Gram Sugar.
- It's 1/2 tsp Cardamom (Elaichi)Powder.
- It's 50 Gram Khoya(Mawa).
- It's 1 Tbsp Sliced Almonds (Badam).
- It's 1 Tbsp Raisins (Kishmish).
- It's 120 Gram All-purpose Flour (Maida).
- You need 120 Gram Wheat Flour.
- Prepare 2 Tbsp Desi Ghee.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Salt.
- It's As needed Water.
- It's as needed Oil.

- 1.For Coconut Filling/ Stuffing Of Fried Modaks:.
- Keep a pan on gas stove on medium flame.
- Add grated coconut, sugar in the pan and mix both the contents well using a spatula.
- Now add khoya(mawa) into the contents in the pan and mix well.
- Keep stirring and mixing the contents in the container until the sugar gets melt nicely.
- Now add cardamom (Elaichi)powder, almonds (badam), raisins (kishmish).
- Our Modak is filling/stuffing is ready, keep it aside and let it cool down to room temperature.
- 2. For Fried Modak Covering:.
- Heat desi ghee in a pan and keep it aside.
- In a bowl add plain flour (maida), wheat flour, salt and mix them well.
- Now add the heated and melted desi ghee in that flour mixture.
- And mix all the contents in the bowl until the flour gets cooled down.
- After it gets cooled down, add water in the flour mixture and knead the dough nicely.
- Make sure that the dough is neither be too hard nor too soft.
- Once dough is kneaded, make small dough balls.
- Now roll the dough balls like we roll it for the wheat rotis.
- Now add the coconut mixture in the rotis.
- And shape them into modak.
- Now heat cooking oil in a frying pan.
- And deep fry the Modaks on medium flame.
- Your fingerlicking Fried Modak are ready to serve.
