Ingredients make Pavlova
- Prepare and a half cups castor sugar.
- Prepare large eggs (whites only).
- It's cornstarch.
- Prepare malt vinegar.
- It's vanilla extract.
- It's double cream.
Pavlova instructions
- Separate the eggs whisk until soft peaks then gradually beat in most of the castor sugar and with the last of the sugar add the cornstarch. When all mixed up - fold in the vinegar and vanilla extract and then do the classic bowl over the head test!!!.
- Having put the oven to pre-heat (gas mark 9) put the pavlova mixture covered with greaseproof paper - and put mine in a circle slightly mounded in the middle. Once in the oven turn the gas down to its lowest setting cook for an hour and a half. Leave pavlova in the oven to cool..
- Once cool cover with double cream or frommage frais and whatever topping you want and ENJOY!!.
